Shamanic Workshops

I have been studying and practicing shamanism since 1994.  When I took my first Shamanic Journeying class, I remember feeling as if I now had a language and a context for something I had been doing my entire life.  In the past 30 years, I have studied with many teachers, including Sandra Ingerman's Two Year Teacher Training, Betsy Bergstrom's Two Year Wheel of Life Training, Christina Pratt's Ancestral Energy Clearing Program and classes taught by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies.  I teach the classes listed below. I offer continuing education credits for LMHC and Social Workers.

Jose Stevens describes shamanic connection and practice as:  Perhaps the most fundamental shamanic principle from which everyone may benefit is that in the shamanic practice, there is no hierarchy or dogma handed down to supplicants from some higher authority.  Shamanism is the path of immediate and direct personal contact with Spirit, deeply intuitive and not subject to definition, censorship or judgement by others.  On this path, each seeker has access to this transcendent connection and all that is possible.  As we begin to journey together in community and share our gifts, talents and messages we have received, we create a collective energy which will over time create positive change and healing for the planet and all who live here.

Beginning Shamanic Journeying,  Partnering with Compassionate Helping Spirits

This is the workshop where students learn the basics of shamanic journeying to non ordinary reality to meet with spirit guides and helpers.  This workshop is a required before you may register for the Advanced Classes.
